1. Data Usage for Marketing
By using our services, you consent to the use of your data for marketing and communication purposes, which may include sending promotional offers, trip updates, mountain route advisories, and seasonal newsletters. You can manage your communication preferences or unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
2. Advance Payment Requirement
We require advance payment for all our services, including private car rentals with mountain drivers, curated package tours, customized expeditions, flight connections, train transfers, and inter-state permit arrangements. Your booking is confirmed and scheduled only upon verified receipt of payment.
3. Refund Policy
Please note that we do not have a standard refund policy. Once a payment is made, it is non-refundable unless explicitly agreed otherwise in a written, signed agreement before booking confirmation.
4. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances
While we strive to ensure timely and smooth operations, Driveast.com Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for delays, itinerary disruptions, or extra expenses caused by mountain landslides, political strikes (bandhs), adverse weather, roadblocks, breakdown of external transit, or any force majeure events beyond our control.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must carry valid government-issued photo identification (Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar) and necessary Inner Line Permits (ILP) or Protected Area Permits (PAP) where applicable. Driveast assists with permit facilitation, but compliance with local laws and permits remains the customer's responsibility.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on www.driveast.com and the DRIVEAST app, including brand trademarks, itinerary texts, maps, photography, UI graphics, and software code, is the exclusive intellectual property of Driveast.com Pvt. Ltd. and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark legislation.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Guwahati, Assam, India.
8. Changes to Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior individual notice. Any amendments will be posted directly on our website and mobile application, and the revised Terms will apply to all subsequent bookings and usage.
